Terms & Conditions

1. Bookings & Deposits

  • A deposit is required to secure your date; please note that deposits are non-refundable as they cover job management, administrative time, and pre-purchased consumables.
  • I aim to arrive 15 minutes before our scheduled appointment.
  • I will wait up to 15 minutes past the scheduled start time; beyond this, the appointment may be cancelled and the deposit forfeited.

2. Payments & Late Fees

  • Payment can be made via cash, card (in person), or online.
  • All invoices must be settled within 30 days.
  • Failure to pay within 30 days will incur a late payment surcharge.
  • Unpaid debts remaining after the surcharge period will be referred for legal action/court recovery.

3. Workspace & Liability

  • The work area must be clear and ready for the arrival of the Cycling Handyman.
  • I am not responsible for any accidental damage or staining to property in areas that have not been cleared of personal items or furniture prior to work commencing.

4. Materials & Tools

  • I provide all professional tools and small consumables (screws, wall plugs, etc.).
  • The customer is responsible for supplying larger materials, such as doors, timber, cement, or plaster.

5. Call-Outs & After-Hours

  • My standard working hours focus on mornings to allow for family time and admin.
  • Emergency or “Afternoon/Evening” call-outs are available but incur a fee: £30 during the week and £60 on weekends.
